BSA's ATV Program Comes To Owasippe This Summer!
Pathway To Adventure Council is proud to announce the introduction of the BSA's new ATV program. This exciting opportunity, approved for Scouts over 14 years of age, will consist of a hands on learning, care and riding experience. The program culminates in an Owasippe trail ride at the completion of the training. All Terrain Vehicles in action
Mountain Biking At Owasippe!
Enjoy Cycling merit badge and guided trail rides at Owasippe. 28 miles of Michigan's top 10 rated mountain biking trails, located on Owasippe Scout Reservation's 4800 acres, is at the center of this exciting outpost. By participating in this program, you will have an opportunity to travel through seldom seen areas of camp and explore the wonderful and fragile ecosystem that is apart of Owasippe.

Owasippe has engaged a new food service and menu for camp this summer. The new service specializes in preparing meals using as many fresh ingredients as possible. Food from scratch! What a novel idea! The reviews are in and the Scouts & Scouters are smiling.
Adventure Shuttle at Owasippe
Travel the reservation using Owasippe's Adventure Bus. This summer you will be able to move across the Reservation to our outposts, to the Horse Ranch, Sail Base, Ad Center, ATV Outpost, Camp Gerber Welding and Metal Working Merit Badge Outpost, STEM program and more. Scouts at Camp Wolverine, Camp Blackhawk now have transportation to all the popular destinations at Owasippe. Stops are also made at Carlen WEBELOS Camp and Reneker Family Camp.
Owasippe Volunteer Camp Commissioner Program 2018!
Volunteer Scouters are needed to work as Camp Commissioners this summer. You can volunteer for one or two weeks. Kayaking Program Great Success
Kayaking introduced in 2015, proved to be a an extremely popular aquatics program at both camps. Scouts found pursuing Kayaking Merit Badge a fun and rewarding experience. In fact, Kayaking proved to be the third most earned merit badge in the Council for this past year.

Fishing at Owasippe
Take advantage of the great fishing at Owasippe when you come to camp. Bass fishing at Owasippe is a popular pastime. Catch and release is strongly encouraged. Catch and release ensures that Scouts will continue to enjoy this great fishery during their stay at Owasippe.

STEM Program is Expanding at Owasippe
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) program will be offering several new Merit Badges at Owasippe along with a new Nova Award. This innovative and fun program brings Scouts to a new level of understanding of the environment around them. Hands on experiences with modern and powerful telescopes, underwater ROV (remotely operated vehicle) and mini quad-copters capable of recording videos bring exciting new opportunities for Scouts looking for a challenge at Owasippe. Computers with internet are also available for use and enhance the learning experience.
